The retreat

A quiet stretch of Mayo Lake, kept all to yourselves.

Pointe Mayo Lake sits at the end of a gravel drive on a private, wooded point in Roxboro — 2,880 square feet of easygoing lake house with the water always in view. It was built for the kind of trip where nobody checks the clock: families spread across five bedrooms, couples claiming the dock at sunrise, old friends trading turns at the pool table.

Everything you'd pack the car for is already here — kayaks and canoes resting by the shore, fishing rods by the door, a six-person hot tub steaming under the trees, and a fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs and 200 feet of string light. All within an hour of the Triangle, and a world away from it.

Amenities

The best parts are already on site.

Three things set this house apart — and a long list of small comforts backs them up.

On the water

Your own dock, two canoes, two sit-on kayaks, and six fishing rods — paddles and life jackets for everyone. Launch a boat, drop a line, or just watch the light move across the lake.

Room to gather

Five bedrooms and three baths over two finished levels, a fully stocked kitchen, screened porches and heated patios — space for thirteen to spread out and still wind up together.

Made for downtime

A six-person hot tub, a fire pit under the string lights, and a basement game room with a pool table, foosball, and a 50-game arcade. The fun is already built in.
